kinda both. did some shitty course at sheffield hallam just cause the legacy were based there and it was easier than getting a job. then during the last year of the legacy and after i was at goldsmiths in london.

i guess as with all writing it stems from personal experience. i’d say the majority of it is lifted directly from the shit that has happened to me but sometimes i will twist it and maybe mess around with it a bit.

this is the set list from our last ever show. the last year or so before we split up our set lists were quite similar to this. we added a few older songs for this show to change it up a bit.

can’t remember exactly what it says but it’s from ‘igby goes down’. something like “I feel this, this great pressure coming down on me. It’s constantly coming down on me. It’s crushing.”

it’s going…i hope to have it all over and done with in the next few weeks but they never make it easy. in fact it’s so much easier and less expensive to get married. you get totally fucked over when you want a divorce. i guess there’s a lesson or something in there. but yeah I’m hoping to be a 27 year old divorcee soon. i’m a total catch right?

my first pet was a mouse who used to dig…like all mice. i called him digger and i wrote stories about how he solved crimes riding around on the back of our pet cat. one day at school i got into a fight and my brother tried to get me all pumped up and angry so he yelled ‘imagine he killed digger’. needless to say after that fight nobody ever messed with me again.
